Revolver

Revolver

The Revolver is an early-game firearm in Rust that uses pistol ammunition and features a limited magazine capacity. It is often one of the first guns players gain access to, making it a common choice during the early stages of PvP and roaming.

Compared to more advanced firearms, the Revolver has modest damage output and noticeable recoil. Its accuracy decreases quickly at medium range, requiring controlled shots and careful positioning to be effective. While simple in design, it still provides a significant advantage over primitive weapons when used correctly.

The Revolver is best suited for close to short-medium range encounters, where landing consistent shots matters more than raw firepower. Although it struggles against well-armored opponents and higher-tier weapons, it remains a useful training weapon for learning firearm handling and early combat fundamentals.

As progression continues, the Revolver is usually replaced by more reliable pistols or rifles. However, its accessibility and straightforward mechanics make it a solid starting point for players transitioning from primitive weapons to guns.
