High External Wooden Wall

High External Wooden Wall

The High External Wooden Wall is a deployable defensive structure used to block access and protect areas around a base. Unlike standard walls, it cannot be upgraded, rotated, or removed with a Hammer, and must be placed directly on solid, level terrain rather than on foundations.

This wall is commonly used as a secondary layer of defense, surrounding courtyards, furnaces, quarries, or other external structures. It includes barbed wire on top, which slows and damages players attempting to climb over it, making it effective at delaying intruders even though it can still be accessed using ladders.

High external wooden walls are relatively easy to deploy and can cover large areas, but they decay over time even when within Tool Cupboard range, requiring regular maintenance. Due to their limited durability and decay, they are not recommended as a primary base defense, but instead as an outer perimeter or temporary protective barrier.
