Rocket

The Rocket is a powerful explosive ammunition in Rust used with the Rocket Launcher for raiding and destroying player-built structures. It is one of the most effective tools for dealing large amounts of damage quickly, especially against multiple building elements at once.
Unlike C4, rockets do not attach to surfaces. Instead, they explode on impact, dealing damage in an area around the explosion. This allows rockets to damage multiple structures simultaneously, making them highly effective for breaching walls, doors, and clustered building parts.
Rockets are also dangerous in combat situations due to their high damage and splash radius. However, their explosive area makes them less precise, requiring careful positioning to avoid damaging unintended targets or wasting resources.
Damage and Behavior
- Deals high explosive damage to structures
- Explodes on impact
- Causes splash damage in an area
- Can damage multiple structures at once
- Does not attach to surfaces like C4
- Less precise than C4 but more flexible
- Requires a Rocket Launcher to be used
Recommended Usage
- Mid to late-game raiding
- Breaching multiple walls or structures at once
- Raiding compact or clustered bases
- Situations where area damage is more effective than precision
Pros and Cons
Pros
- High damage output
- Can damage multiple structures simultaneously
- Very effective for large-scale raids
- Useful in both raiding and combat
Cons
- Less precise than C4
- Can damage unintended structures
- Requires a Rocket Launcher
- Less efficient for single-target breaches
