Armored Wall

The Armored Wall is the strongest and final wall upgrade available in Rust. It is upgraded from any lower-tier wall using a Hammer and High Quality Metal, providing the highest level of protection a base can have.

Armored walls are extremely resistant to all forms of damage, with explosives being the primary effective raiding method against them. While they offer unmatched durability, their very high upgrade cost makes them impractical for large-scale use, and they are typically reserved for protecting the most valuable areas of a base.

Because of their cost and visibility, armored walls are most commonly used in core base sections, such as loot rooms or key choke points, rather than as exterior walls. Their presence often signals high-value targets, so using them selectively is usually more effective than upgrading an entire base to armored.
